I am a recent computer science graduate from New Mexico Tech. I graduated in December, 2009, with a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science.
I enjoy playing Dungeons and Dragons. I like being the creative spellcaster who can come up with unique solutions. I especially love being the Dungeon Master. D&D allows me to be creative and explore new ideas. I quite enjoy the look of my players' faces when they discover a new plot twist or when they finally defeat the big bad evil guy. I have ran two successful 3.5 home brewed campaigns so far.
I am passionate computer games, especially MMOs and RPGs. I enjoy the escape from reality they offer. I love exploring new worlds, new concepts, and new stories. I love seeing artwork come to life. I can't stop thinking about video games. I am always analyzing every game I play and coming up with new ideas in my head.
I find designing and writing code to usually be relaxing. I love tackling new and interesting problems and trying to find an efficient solution to them.
Sometimes I feel like I need to return to Earth. When I do, I take up on outdoor activities like hiking and camping. It feels good to get out into the forest and explore off the beaten path. The world basks so much in raw beauty. There is almost nothing else that can compare to watching a bull elk bugle at six in the morning. When I return, I am filled with a ton of creative ideas for everything including new campaign ideas for Dungeons and Dragons, ideas for other games, and programming problems.
Motorcycle riding is another grounding for me. I ride a Kawasaki Ninja 650r. It feels good to hit the road and take on curves. Motorcycle riding seems to clear my head. I feel refreshed when I come back. I enjoy working on my motorcycle from doing everything like changing the oil, changing the tires, to modifying it to suit my needs. A couple of the mods I did was a new windscreen (a zero gravity touring screen), and I installed a brake light modulator that blinks when you are stopping so traffic is aware of you.
